After another successful cleanup in 2025, we are pleased to announce the 2026 Littleton Community Cleanup Day, taking place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Apthorp Commons (21 Carleton Street, Littleton).
This event is made possible thanks to the volunteer efforts and partnership of many organizations including Friends of Remich Park, Casella Waste Systems, Littleton Parks & Recreation, the Littleton Police Department, and the Littleton Public Works Department.
Supplies will be provided so community members can clean up their own street or neighborhood, or join others to help tidy key areas around Littleton including Main Street, the River District, Remich Park, surrounding neighborhoods, and municipal areas.
To celebrate the day’s efforts, (hopefully with a full dumpster!) we will wrap up with a community BBQ. This community-focused cleanup is a wonderful way to give back to our town after a long winter and help enhance the enjoyment that community members can have at our beloved parks and public spaces. It will be a great opportunity for friends, families, and neighbors to spend time together, do positive work and have fun.
Here are a few ways you can help:
Put together a Cleanup Team with friends, family, coworkers, or neighbors
Support Friends of Remich Park with a donation to help make this event possible (scan the QR code below or send a check to Friends of Remich Park)
Provide in-kind support by donating supplies for the event (ask a volunteer for more details)
Local groups, families, and volunteers from across Littleton will be pitching in to help make our town shine this spring. Even a single hour of your time helps make a difference. Bring your kids, your coworkers, or a neighbor and join the community effort. Kids and families are encouraged to participate. No signup required!
Hope to see you there!
